"Complete words" is an entertaining game of letters and words, whose purpose is to complete a word that appears incomplete on the screen.
It is a game with many educational possibilities, very appropriate for children who are learning to read and write. Also for those who need to strengthen their language, expand their vocabulary and acquire correct spelling.
It also allows you to broaden the specific knowledge of an area, since the words in the game can refer to a specific topic.
TEACHER program
In addition to the game, this series contains the Teacher program, with which the educator can create word files that fully adjust to the needs of the subject he teaches, the level and the abilities of the students.
By creating custom word files, the educator has full control over which words and letters are hidden in the game.
The visual interface of the program presents an easy way to prepare personalized files.
It also offers us previews of what the word will look like in each "Complete Words" game option, so we can visually see how difficult it will be.
It offers various print options on paper (with Windows or D.O.S. fonts), and we can print previews of each game option to use as worksheets for kids to practice on.
Complete words game
"Complete words" is the game itself, which allows us to open word files on disk and play with them. It is not a fixed game that always plays with the same words, but the themes and words are infinite and we can create the personalized files that we want with the Teacher program.
The game allows up to ten players to play at the same time, which you control independently and as a group.
The game screen is configurable, allowing us to hide or show the information we want (failed letters, word control, opportunities, time, clues, player name with the turn, points, etc.), change the background of the window and the type of letter.
To make the game easier, a graphic keyboard appears to be used together with the computer keyboard, which is also configurable and allows us to modify the characters.
It has several configuration options to determine the errors allowed in each word, the keys to take into account, if you must put all the letters that are the same, or if the same letter can cause several errors.
The game has several game options:
Ocultar al azar, pocas letras (Hide random, few letters)
In this option, the game chooses a word at random, and also randomly hides some of its letters.
Ocultar al azar, muchas letras (Hide random, many letters)
This option is like the previous one, but the game hides a greater number of letters of the chosen word, which makes it more difficult to guess the word.
Ocultar sólo vocales (Hide only vowels)
In this game option, the program hides all the vowel letters it contains. In the configuration option we can cancel the pressing of the consonant letters, or that all the letters are taken into account.
Ocultar sólo consonantes (Hide only consonants)
In this game option, the program hides from us all the consonant letters it contains.
Ocultar todas, menos la primera y la última (Hide all but the first and last)
In this game option, the program hides all the letters except the first and the last; that is, only two letters are visible.
Ocultar letras marcadas (Hide marked letters)
In this game option, the program chooses a word and then searches that word for possible marks that indicate the letters to hide.
Those marks have been put when creating the file with the Teacher program.
The difficulty of this game option will depend on the number of marked letters that have been placed in each word.
This option allows full control over the words, the hidden letters and the difficulty of each of them.
Results dashboard
The program automatically controls all the successes and errors, of each player, achieved in all the game options.
With this option we can see those results.
With drop-down lists, simply select players to see their full results record.
In addition, we can save them on disk (in all the files we want), read others that are saved from other sessions, exchange players, print them,...
TOP TEN
While we play, the program adds up, from scratch, a series of points, each time a word is completed correctly; and substracts points for each of the failed words.
This counter is individual for each player, there is another counter for the group if there is more than one player.
These points accumulate throughout each game and reset to zero if we start a new game with new players.
In the output options, we can see the list of the 10 best players, those who have obtained the highest score so far.
If any player or group has achieved the necessary points, they will also be on that list. In that case, we will be able to save the new list on disk, so that the new players will appear in it in successive times.

This game and all the files necessary for its operation are compressed into a single executable program.
When you run this program, you just have to follow the instructions and the program takes care of everything, unzipping the files, installing the program and creating the group of programs and icons necessary to run them from Windows.
A program is also created for easy uninstallation.
