The Word Games program is made up of several games with letters and words, with many possibilities to develop the ability to use written language and favor the learning of spelling rules.
The game screen can be adjusted to our liking by changing the background color or putting a drawing as the background. To do this, you just have to press the right mouse button on any point on the bottom of the screen and a dialog box will appear where we can choose the drawing or texture that we like or navigate through the directories of our disk and search for others.
You can also change the fonts for each game option.

TEACHER Program
The Teacher program is for the exclusive use of the educator. With it you can create custom files, manipulate and modify the files of words and phrases you want and that will then be read from the game to play with them. Thanks to it, these games are flexible and adaptable to any need of the educator, the students, the area, the environment,...
Each word file carries an optional text, which can be a common spelling rule for words. It also contains the determiners that are worked on, which can be changed for some language or dialect.
Each word is marked with the letter that we want to work on, and three associated letters that are the ones that usually cause errors in the writing of that word.
Words with tricky letters
In this game you have to differentiate and identify the words that are spelled correctly, between words that differ in one letter or a few.
This game is based on those tricky letters that often cause mistakes and misspellings in writing. To do this, this game uses the marked letter of each word in the file and the three associated letters (optional) that each one has.
It's very easy, since you don't have to write anything; just point the mouse at the correct word or letter (the mouse pointer will turn into a pointing hand) and click.
The variants of this game are:
-Game 1:
We must press with the mouse the button that contains the letter or letters that are missing from a word.
-Game 2:
You have to click with the mouse on the word or words that are missing the letter shown in a box.
-Game 3:
Four words appear, which is actually the same word written in four different ways. You just have to click on the word that is spelled correctly, since only one is correct.
Separate syllables, words and phrases
In this game you have to separate the words that are in a small text, which can make sense and form a sentence, or be words together without connection. It has a variant in which you have to separate the syllables that form the words.
There are four variants of this game, and they teach us to separate syllables, separate randomly joined words and separate words that form a sentence.
Form words with syllables and letters
In this game you have to form complete and correct words from the syllables or letters that the program presents us with in a disordered way.
It is about combining and testing to discover the word to form, and it tests the vocabulary that the children know.
We have an automatic correction, below the word editing field, which marks the errors we are making, with some correction signs.
Each sign is under the corresponding wrong place or letter and indicates if that letter is wrong, an extra letter, or if or another letter is missing. Looking at those signs we can make the necessary corrections to write the words correctly.

At the bottom we have the button with the title "View alphabet". Upon pressing it, a window appears with the alphabet to be able to consult it.

In this game you have to discover the missing or extra letter in a word, depending on the variant you choose.
The variants of this game are:

The program chooses a word and removes a letter from it at a randomly chosen position. We must place the missing letter and in the correct position to form the original word.
-Extra letter:
The program chooses a word and adds a letter chosen at random and in a random position. We must erase or suppress the extra letter to form the original word.
-Lack or excess?:

Adventure in the LABYRINTH
This option adds a more playful touch to the program.
In it appears a labyrinth of corridors with a single exit, and a character that we must move towards said exit.
When the character reaches a wall, he stops and the program presents us with a game.
This game is chosen at random from among all that exist, and also at random, one of its variants is chosen.

Results dashboard
The program continuously checks the correct and incorrect words during each game.
On the one hand, it gives points for each success and subtracts points for each failure. Then, we can see the list with the ten best scores achieved in this game and saved on the disk; it's the Top Ten list.
On the other hand, it controls the hits and misses of each player in each game option. This control is presented in the Results window.
At the top there is a drop-down list of names, with the names of each player, of the current players, and that can be clicked to display the list and select the name we want (if more than one player is playing).

This program gives a series of points each time a hit is achieved; and substracts points for each of the failures. Each player accumulates points throughout the game.
From the menu option "Options->The 10 best players...", we access the scores window. In it, the program offers us a list of the 10 players who have obtained the highest score, of all those who have played this game.

If the score we have achieved is within that list, it will appear highlighted in a different color and the program will allow us to save the new list.
When we accumulate several hits, the program congratulates us with a puzzle. That puzzle appears each time with a new part visible, until it appears with the complete drawing; then it gives us extra points.

This game and all the files necessary for its operation are compressed into a single executable program.
When you run this program, you just have to follow the instructions and the program takes care of everything, unzipping the files, installing the program and creating the group of programs and icons necessary to run them from Windows.
A program is also created for easy uninstallation.
All programs or games are installed cleanly, copying everything to the set directory, without saving files elsewhere or using Windows or system directories.
